My mother-n-law got an ipod touch 4th generation for all 5 grandkids for Christmas… It would be no big deal if only they were older than 6-8years old. One of the 7year olds is a lot like her aunt, very inquisitive and curious about the way things work. It wouldn’t be s bad if I didn’t have to keep fixing two of the ipods everyday…it is really not a big deal to reset the ipod’s everytime, but it sure would be nice to be able to lock the settings file. Can anybody help me with this??? Is it possible to just lock the Utilities and Settings Buttons?? If so PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME….

my little sister washed my Ipod and i tried the resting thing. but it still dosn’t work!!!! HELP!!!
( it works when plugged into a computer/sometimes.)

my ipod battery was dead, i bought a new one. now my ipod worked at first, but it will not charge anymore and does not work with the ipod charger for the computer. it only works with the one in my car. what can i do?

Ejected ipod from computer properly and now it says there is no music on it. It does still show 13 gb of used space. Plugged it back in to computer, totally locks up itunes.

Anyone else have this happen?

Can you please help. My daughter dropped the ipod in the mini pool, it had a cover protector but i immediately took out and laid face down on grass in sun, then tried in front of fan, et cetra, then it worked again but would not charge with regular charger, i hooked up to computer and then it would charge sometimes but other times would not, then it would be charging but not show as if it were. Then i tried that reset where you push button slide to close/off, then turn on apple sign showed but would always return to itunes and plug icon and remain stuck and now can not get out of that!!!! HElp please its my daughters i feel so bad cuz my lil one ruined it for the bigger one!!! Much appreciation in advance, Denise..S.

hi i washed my ipod in the washing machine without relising it. none of the buttons work the wheel thingy it works fine when i put it on to my sterio ipod connection but i have to use the sterio remote to change song i cnt use the scroll wheel!! when i wnt to listen to music whith the head fones the only way i can change the song is to shake it about does anyone now if this problem is fixable
